Poll: What Phone Are You Most Excited For?

You don’t have to be a tech fanatic to be excited about all the great flagships that have been released or will be released in the next few weeks.  Just weeks ago, Apple released their best iPhone yet.  Looking to outdo anything that Apple brought to the table, LG announced the LG Optimus G.  Samsung released the powerful and unique Galaxy Note 2.  We’re all patiently waiting on the Nokia Lumia 920.  I don’t know about you but I am super excited to try out Blackberry’s Blackberry 10 Series phones.  What are you most excited for?

Just when I thought LG couldn’t possibly be any dumber, they go and do something like this… and totally redeem themselves!

I won’t get ahead of myself because LG has not done anything to totally redeem themselves yet, but they may be on the right track with their up and coming LG superphone.  I’m also don’t want to brag, but that is an awesome title to an article among being the best and most memorable lines from Dumb & Dumber.  Anyways, LG’s up and coming handset has a chance to be absolutely great.  But this awesome handset being released by LG could potentially bury it six feet under very fast.

We all know that LG has a very bad history on supporting their handsets, will this one be any different?  Is the  LG Optimus G their redemption?  Only time will tell.  In the meantime check out the specs for LG’s superphone.   The model features a 4.7 inch screen which will use the in-cell touch technology that the new Apple iPhone is expected to have.  In addition, the display will be a True HD IPS LCD with an RGB matrix and resolution of 768 x 1280 and a pixel density of 318 ppi. According to LG, when the display is turned off, the bezel and the body match the screen. The quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 lets quad-core and LTE play together and 2GB of RAM is on board. On back you will find a 13MP camera while a 1.3MP camera graces the front. A 2100mAh battery keeps the lights on and Android 4.0 is installed at release with a promise to upgrade the G to Jelly Bean shortly after.  This device, when it’s released will have the best specs out of any phone on the market, not to mention that the benchmarks for the G are simply out of this world.  To top it all off, LG plans on releasing this beast on atleast 3 out of the top 4 major carriers here in the states.  They seem to be following big brother Samsung’s footsteps with these release plans and I have to say that it is a very smart move on their part.  Now they have to support the handset to keep its customers happy.  Otherwise, you can bet that LG will not have this chance again.  Check out LG’s teaser videos after the break, plus a bonus video.
