This here post will be a collection of random thoughts that I have had recently but haven’t been able to put together a full-fledged article. Here we go. Feel free to chime in if you feel the same or if I am completely off the line.
T-Mobile will officially get the iPhone in 2013
Here are a couple of reasons as to why I think that the next iPhone release will include T-Mobile. A few months back, T-Mobile started these ads where they were courting iPhone users. This all began when T-Mobile once again offered unlimited plans that included unlimited data. They were using this to court iPhone users that were coming from At&t. Those users that upgraded to the new iPhone probably sold their old iPhone to somebody who now needs a contract. About a month later, those ads were pulled for no apparent reason. It could just be that they were not doing their job, but I think that it was something else. I think that T-Mobile finally had a breakthrough in negotiations with Tim Cook’s boys. To further my speculation, T-Mobile is projected to finish re-farming most of its 1900Mhz Spectrum to UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ this year. Which coincidentally is required to run 4G on the iPhone.
